Safe and Sound on the Adriatic Coast...
Finally safe in Rimini after an...interesting experience in Pescara..... and a great time with the big group again in Sorrento...
While I'm not exactly prepared to blog at this point, being both tired and without my camera cord, I think it's important - especially while experiencing the priviledge of travel abroad- to think about the more important things in life... family, friends, life in general maybe....
Strangely enough, in my recent experiences in Italy, the recent news from VT is almost entirely unmentioned... only through random CNN.com hits and occasional flashes from tv news do I even get updates on the happenings, and all come as a huge shock, especially in the midst of a break from all things USA...
Know that all of us, the Notters and other expats abroad, are thinking about the recent events and thinking about the families and people involved....
Hopefully more updates tomorrow..... for other info, pics, entertainment, check out Meg's blog of my time in Nantes, as well as Aaron's take on Florence, Rome, and Sorrento... Brandon also has new stuff up from Malta, and Hil and Mary have both landed successfully in Greece, and are having the times of their lives.....
